I'm going to show you the article we promoted, the creative, the exact targeting, and the result.
The article name is "package". It's an article, pretty easy one about this lady who sees
someone forced to throw a package in the airport trash because he cannot take it with him to the plane.
She took the package, searched for him for some time and returned the package to him.
Just read the story for you.
Anyway, the creative we used is pretty simple. It took us a bit of time to find this
specific combination but the headline is, "Lady Sees Crying Man Forced TO Throw Package In Airport Trash"
and those are the images.
This ad alone got more than 17,000 likes over 8,000 shares and more than 3,000 comments.
Now the targeting, I think if you're running Facebook here, it's going to be interesting.
Because we're targeting viral content, everyone is a potential customer.
So we are targeting very wide. In this case, we're targeting US mobile, almost all ages. Both genders.
And that's it.
We don't use any custom audience or any interest.
That leaves us with a potential reach of 76 million people to show them our ad,
and yeah, we do use pixel to target better users, but that's it.
It's all about creative.
Some numbers. So the CTR of this ad was 15%. What ld us to buy in $0.05 cents CPC.
Again, targeting US mobile traffic.
We managed to generate from each click, more than $0.11 cents in EPC.
Overall we spent more than $27,000 in the first 10 days of this ad, but what's interesting is
how fast we can scale, because we are monetising every click, every click is generating revenue.
When something is working we can scale really fast.
In this case, we scaled from $20 to $50 to $500 to $5,000 in just a few days.
Oh and you know why we stopped at $5,000? If you're doing Facebook, you know Facebook has a
limit or a daily cap that you can spend on one account. You can open it by talking with the support,
but in this case, it wasn't opened. So potentially, this ad could've generated more.
Bottom line, we spent more than $27,000 in the first 10 days, generated almost $64,000 in revenue.
That left us with a tremendous $36,000 in profit. That's 2.3 in ROAS. That's crazy right?
Now was it compliant? Totally compliant.
Does it target large audience? We saw 76 million potential users in reach.
Is it scalable? I'm leaving it to you to decide.
And does it have high engagement? We saw the likes, the shares, the comments.
That's pretty high engagement.
