What is Search engine?
A search engine is a software created to make searching on the internet easier for users. It saves people a lot of time since they do not have to look for the correct page manually. Search engine goes through millions of pages within seconds and provides the most relevant results.
Search engines use multiple processes to function correctly. These include web crawling, indexing and searching. After a search query is requested, the search engine sends web crawlers across the web. They scan pages for results and rank them according to their relevancy. The most appropriate results are then displayed on the search engine results page (SERP).
