a lot of us have seen affiliate programs
before but have you ever thought of
hosting your own when you have other
people pushing their audience to your
products not only does it expand your
reach but it also increases your sales
dramatically and if that's not enough to
get you excited about starting an
affiliate program i don't know what is
the only way that i'm able to have
netflix and chill days with myself is by
making sure that my affiliates are
consistently selling for me every single
day and that started with putting one
foot in front of the other and getting
that affiliate program up and live there
are five main reasons why you'll want to

the first thing that our affiliates have
helped us do in my store is increase our
brand awareness and authority because
every time somebody with an audience
puts us out in front of those people all
of those people see us as connected to

the instagram account or whoever it is
that is sharing us this also helps us to
achieve the second goal which is to
reach a broader audience while we can
only contact a certain number of people
because we're limited with content or
our facebook budget or whatever things
are contraining us our affiliates don't
have those same constraints in fact
they're often in very different markets
and areas and marketing different kinds
of content to their audience than we are
that way we're able to achieve more
reach through that broader audience that
they're hitting on instead of just our
own the third thing is really subtle but
it's a huge huge benefit of having
affiliate sales which is that we've seen
our conversion rates skyrocket through
our affiliates versus just pushing
products out on our own the reason for
this is because our affiliates are the
ones who people trust they know like and
trust them and they're willing to buy a
product that solves their solution
especially from somebody who's an
influencer or a brand that they already
love when that person shares this out to
their audience of course that audience
is going to latch on to us in the same
way they've latched on to that person
they're already following and we don't
have to work so hard to convince that
person that we are a trustworthy store
and that our products are good because
the affiliate has done all of that work
for us so that's how our conversions
increase dramatically with each
affiliate sale the fourth reason
affiliates have really helped us and how
i know they'll be able to help you is
another subtle but not to be overlooked
one so we have built some really great
connections with our affiliates just by
seeing who's selling and reaching out to
them and having conversations it's been
so fun to do things like go to the grand
canyon with one of our affiliates and
jump on just some voice texting when i
was having a hard time with my business
with another affiliate and it's just
been really amazing to cultivate these
kinds of personal connections that i
wouldn't have otherwise had access to if
i hadn't started my affiliate program
it's definitely put me in touch with
some big time influencers and big names
in the industry that i probably would
have just been looked over and not given
a second thought to but for the fact
that they heard about our affiliate
program signed up they were impressed by
it and now i'm proud to call some of
these affiliates friends the last and
final one the fifth one is my favorite
and i'm sure it's gonna be yours too
affiliates have helped us to save money
on our advertising budget as you know
facebook is always going through changes
and making it more and more expensive
for us small business owners to get our
products out there in front of the
people that we want to sell to but with
affiliates we don't have to pay that
money up front so with facebook ads we
have to kind of guess that there's going
to be so many people that sign up for a
live event and that only 50 of the
people who signed up are actually gonna
show up and then of the people who
showed up we have to figure out who's
actually going to make a purchase and
then we have to figure out how much
they'll probably spend and on and on and
on so facebook ads are something you
have to pay for it's expensive up front
and hopefully you did the math right and
you'll recoup it on the back end but if
you didn't
sorry you're just out some cash and that
could really hurt especially if you
don't have a lot of extra cash to spare
at the moment in your business with
affiliates we get to save a lot of money
because we only have to pay once a sale
is made that means that we've made let's
say 300
on a sale and a third of that
approximately will go to the affiliate
and we'll get to keep the other two
thirds to continue operating the
business that's a really oversimplified
breakdown of it but i think that gives
you a good idea of what it's like for us
to pay out our affiliates and how
beneficial it is in terms of cost saving
and time saving because we're not
spending all that time and money on
facebook but instead investing it into
our affiliate program the bottom line is
that an affiliate program is an awesome
opportunity for you to get out there in
a bigger way today without learning
complicated facebook ads or seo
