well there's two ways you can become an.
affiliate on twitch there's the easy way.
and there's the real easy way the real.
easy way is just turn on your phone put.
on your channel.
turn on your computer turn on your.
channel find some other phones in your.
house turn on your channel every single.
one of them is a potential viewer it's.
super cheap but it's effective it works.
i know tons of people who have done it.
to get to affiliate now if you want to.
grow legit i've got a couple tips for.
you but this is only if you're serious.
about growing on twitch if you're just.
doing it for fun then this video is over.
for you you already know the easy way go.
out there and turn on all the devices in.
your house and get to affiliate in one.
week super easy stuff but if you'd like.
to grow on twitch and grow a community.
there's a few things that you could do.
to help you out number one is stop.
playing over saturated games.
nobody is going to find you playing call.
of duty or fortnite there's over a.
thousand people streaming and no one's.
going to filter from the most popular.
person to the least popular person to.
find you at the bottom of the list it's.
just not gonna happen it's almost a zero.
percent chance.
so find a game.
that has a small community.
and enough people who are watching it.
where you have discoverability where if.
you stream for a couple hours you're.
actually gonna get a couple followers.
now this being said if you've got tons.
of value and you're really good at.
streaming and you've got a sick setup.
go ahead play oversaturated games.
because you've already got the value and.
you're going to grow on twitch but for.
most of you guys it's difficult to grow.
and we're still getting started and we.
don't have our value so we're trying to.
figure out how we can grow which brings.
me to number two make sure that you guys.
are using social media to advertise your.
streams even if you've only got three or.
five followers let those three to five.
people know that you're going live so.
they can come hang out with you over.
time those numbers will go up and over.
time you'll grow.
but you won't grow if you don't pay.
attention to your chat which brings me.
to number three make sure you're reading.
chat and responding in a timely fashion.
if somebody takes the time to filter.
through hundreds if not thousands of.
people to find you and says hello and.
you don't say hello back within the.
first 10 seconds they're gone and.
they're never coming back make sure.
you've got low latency settings read.
your chat and respond to it immediately.
finally i know it sounds corny but smile.
and have fun.
nobody wants to watch anybody not having.
fun so smile.
listen to music talk have a good time.
and i promise you your community will.
show up and you'll grow but that's.
really it you guys either you take the.
easy road and you turn all your devices.
in your house onto your channel and you.
get affiliate in one week or you take a.
week or two to find a game and grow.
within a community that wants to grow.
