The video discusses the importance of using specific hashtags on Instagram to reach a wider audience and create multiple touchpoints for potential customers. It also highlights the impact of specific hashtags on the affiliate marketing industry, providing helpful tips for success.
The video discusses the importance of using hashtags on Instagram, but not using generic ones with millions of posts. Instead, it recommends using sets of hashtags that have a smaller number of posts, ranging from 10,000 to 200,000, and rotating these sets throughout the week to see which ones perform the best. This way, it is possible to rank for the top 9 posts in a given hashtag. By doing so, people searching for something on Instagram will be able to see your posts, page and products every day, creating multiple touchpoints that lead to more sales.
So every single day, when people search something that they want to wear, something they want to buy,
or a place they want to travel to, they're gonna be able to see your post
and see your page and see your products every single day.
The next step that I'm going to be teaching guys is about hashtags.
So there's a lot of misinformation about hashtags. People are using the
hashtags that are super generic, like super basic that have hundreds of
millions of posts on them. So if you open up your Instagram app and you
type in the hashtag #travel or #motivation or #beauty or #fashion or
#fitness. These hashtags have hundreds of millions of posts on them, so the
likelihood of you actually showing up for that hashtag are zero right.
Especially if you're just starting out, you only have a couple thousand
followers, maybe like 50 to 100 likes per post. The likelihood of you actually
ranking for fashion or a fitness supplement, it's like slim to none. So I recommend that you guys
start off with a super generic, basic hashtag, you type that in and Instagram is going to show you all
the different hashtags that are related to that basic one. So for example,
travel right. So I typed in travel, you can scroll left and
right and up and down, and Instagram is going to show you all of the related
hashtags to that #travel and so I found a couple like,
#TravelAndExplore and #TravelThereNext. These have 100,000 or 120,000 posts on them
and so what you want to do is you guys want to use hashtags that have smaller number of posts on them.
So I recommend creating multiple sets of hashtags using hashtags that have between maybe like
10,000 to 25,000. 25,000 -50,000. 50,000 to 100,000.
100,000 to 200,000 posts right, and so what you're going to do is create
multiple sets of around 20 to 25 different hashtags and
you're going to rotate these hashtag sets throughout the week to see which
one's perform the best. And as you're rotating hashtags and
using these different hashtags that have different number of posts on them, you're
gonna start to be able to rank for the top 9 posts in that given hashtag,
which is super powerful. So every single day when people search
something that they want to wear, something they want to buy, or a place they
want to travel to, they're gonna be able to see your post and see your page and
see your products every single day, and so it takes multiple exposures
before somebody actually buys something.
So we're creating multiple touch-points right here to get the user
seeing your page, familiar with your content, giving value, and then
creating trust for the type of content you post, which will lead to more sales.
In order to reach a wider audience on social media, it's important to use hashtags, but not just any hashtag. The video explains that using super generic hashtags with hundreds of millions of posts on them will not benefit you. Instead, start off with a basic hashtag and let Instagram show you related hashtags that have a smaller number of posts on them. This way, you have a better chance of ranking for that hashtag and getting your content seen by more people. The video suggests creating multiple sets of hashtags with different numbers of posts and rotating them throughout the week to see which ones perform the best.
It takes multiple exposures for someone to finally make a purchase, so creating multiple touch-points is crucial. By using the right hashtags and getting your content seen by more people, you're already increasing the number of touch-points. But it's important to also provide value and create trust with your audience. Share content that they will find helpful or interesting, and engage with them by responding to comments and messages. By doing so, you'll create a loyal following that's more likely to make a purchase in the future.
The use of specific hashtags can have a significant impact on the affiliate marketing industry. By reaching a wider audience, affiliates can promote their products more effectively and potentially increase their earnings. Additionally, creating multiple touch-points and building trust with an audience is key to successful affiliate marketing. The more someone trusts your content and recommendations, the more likely they are to make a purchase through your affiliate link.
The video provides helpful tips for using hashtags and increasing your reach on social media. It's important to remember to not just focus on the number of followers or likes, but rather creating value and trust with your audience. By doing so, you increase your chances of success in the affiliate marketing industry.
