hey everybody this is Jake from longtail
Pro and today I'm just going to talk
about how you can put Amazon affiliate
links on to Facebook Twitter but
primarily on to Facebook here so it's
actually pretty simple hopefully you're
familiar with the Amazon affiliate
program already I'm going to assume that
you are but very quickly it's just a way
to make Commission's referring people to
Amazon to ultimately buy products that
Amazon sells and so once you're set up
as an Amazon affiliate as part of their
associates program as they call it
you'll have a gray bar across the top of
Amazon when you are on the site so what
you would do is you would go to a
product page so in this case I'm just
looking at a book here but it can be
just about anything and one of the
options up here traditionally you would
use link to this page or short link to
this page and that's how you would get a
hyperlink to use on your website or blog
and refer people there but they've got a
built-in Facebook share button as well
so if I click on this it gives me a
Facebook and a Twitter option which I
mentioned briefly and I click on
Facebook it opens up a window and it
asks me it's already got this preset and
it's creating an affiliate link to this
product so I would be able to share this
on my own timeline by default if I just
wanted to share it on my personal
Facebook account and say you know hey I
really love this book you should check
one thing according to the the terms of
Amazon affiliate you should mention in
the post that it's a it's an affiliate
link so just let people know hey if you
buy it I will get a little bit of
cushion Amazon or however you might want
to say that so to be totally aboveboard
you should do that so people know you
have a little bit of skin in the game
there but you also have the option if
you drop this down to share it in a
group or on a page you manage so if you
have a Facebook page for your business
or something like that or a cause that
you're part of and you wanted to share
it there you can do it there as well as
long as you're a manager administrator
of that page so once you do that pretty
simple it'll post it to Facebook for you
and anybody that clicks on
we'll have your affiliate tracking on it
so if they end up buying anything within
a 24-hour period you get credit for that
so if you're working with a website and
you want some more ideas about how to
maximize your earnings as an Amazon
affiliate click on the link in the
corner of this video or down in the
description we've got a free PDF to show
you some more examples of top Amazon
affiliates and how they're making money
and hopefully give you some ideas of how
you can implement those things in your
business so have a great day
