Read on to learn about everything we’ve added and refined in Q1 2026.
New Help Center: Support and guidance, right where you need it
To make onboarding and day-to-day work simpler, we’ve brought key learning and support resources directly into the merchant panel.
We added a brand-new Help Center section to the merchant panel, giving customers faster access to the information they need without leaving the platform. This new area includes a redesigned Getting Started guide, helpful video tutorials, a dedicated Contact Us page, and a What’s New page to keep you up to date with the latest changes.
This improvement makes it easier for both new and experienced users to find answers, learn features faster, and stay informed about platform updates in one convenient place.

Full dark mode support: A more comfortable and modern panel experience
To give users more control over how they work, all panel themes now support both light and dark viewing modes.
Post Affiliate Pro now offers full dark mode support across all panel themes. The system can automatically switch between light and dark mode based on the user’s browser preference, creating a more seamless experience across devices and environments. For even greater flexibility, we also added a manual light/dark mode switch, so users can choose the mode that suits them best at any time.
To complete the experience, merchants can now upload separate affiliate program logos for light and dark mode, helping maintain strong branding and clear visibility in both display settings.

Security improvements: Stronger protection with smoother access
This quarter’s security updates are focused on improving both account safety and login convenience. We introduced several important security enhancements:
Sliding expiration for “Remember Me” token
Active users can now stay signed in more smoothly. The “Remember Me” session now refreshes its 14-day expiration with each visit, which means regularly active users are less likely to be unexpectedly logged out and asked to sign in again.Stronger default password requirements
New accounts now use stronger password requirements by default, requiring at least 8 characters with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. This helps improve account protection right from the start.Password constraints moved to Security Settings
To better reflect how password rules work across the system, password requirement settings have been moved from Affiliate Fields to General Security Settings. This makes configuration more intuitive and keeps important security options in the right place.
Sale requests import: An easier way to recover missed commissions
To help merchants save time and preserve affiliate relationships, we added a new way to bulk process sale tracking requests. We introduced a new bulk CSV import for sale tracking requests, making it easier to recover commissions that may have been missed during tracking. Merchants can now import sale requests in bulk and match customers to affiliates using identifiers such as email address, IP address, or coupon code.
This addition is especially valuable for merchants handling larger volumes of manual sale recovery, as it streamlines the process and helps ensure affiliates receive the credit they deserve.
Custom date format in imports: More flexibility for CSV data handling
To make imports easier across different systems and regions, you can now define the date format used in CSV files. We added a new option to specify the date format when importing transactions, affiliates, and lifetime relations via CSV. This gives merchants more control over their import process and reduces the need to reformat files before uploading them.
The result is a smoother, more reliable import workflow, especially for teams working with data exported from multiple platforms.

Tracking script performance: Leaner code for faster loading
To improve tracking efficiency, we optimized the tracking script behind the scenes. We reduced the size of the tracking JavaScript file by further minifying the internal code. This makes the tracking script lighter and more efficient, helping pages load faster while maintaining reliable tracking performance. Even small optimizations like this can make a meaningful difference, especially for merchants focused on speed and a smooth user experience.
REST API v3 improvements: More control and broader integration options
To support more advanced workflows and easier integrations, we continued expanding REST API v3 capabilities:
- Added Top Affiliates report endpoint to API v3
- Added support for action commission type code in POST /transactions
- Added option to trigger the affiliate signup notification email when creating affiliates via POST /affiliates
- Added support for referral bonus, signup bonus, and extra bonus commission types in POST /transactions
- Enabled network merchants to configure and manage their own API keys
- Added a Clicks List report endpoint with destination URL, referral URL, IP address, and user agent
- Added notification_email field to the affiliate list response in GET /affiliates
- Added system and merchant notes to GET /transactions/{id}
- Added action code to transaction detail response in GET /transactions/{id}
- Extended PATCH /transactions/{id} to support updating order ID, custom data fields, and transaction type
Tracking plugin improvements: Better compatibility and more accurate data
We continue refining our integrations so merchants can track more accurately and adapt more easily to third-party platform changes.
This quarter brought several valuable updates to our tracking plugins:
Stripe improvements
We enhanced the Stripe integration in multiple areas to support more accurate and flexible commission tracking:
- Per-product tracking now works consistently across all Product ID settings, not just invoice-based options.
- Added a new option to calculate commissions from the subtotal after discounts and excluding tax, giving merchants more precise control over commission calculations.
- Improved coupon code tracking for more reliable promotional attribution.
Shopify improvements
We also updated the Shopify integration to align with current platform requirements and new app types:
- Migrated the integration from the deprecated REST API to GraphQL.
- Added support for new Shopify Dev Dashboard apps alongside legacy custom apps.
Looking ahead: A sneak peek at what’s coming
We’re excited to share that we are developing a dedicated AI assistant for Post Affiliate Pro, which will be accessible directly inside the merchant panel.
In the first stage, the AI assistant will help you find answers and suggest solutions instantly, based on information from our technical knowledge base and support expertise similar to the chatbot on our website. Later on, we plan to expand its capabilities even further to include software setup reviews and suggest actual configuration changes, making your support experience faster, smarter, and even more practical than ever.
Thank you for your continued trust in Post Affiliate Pro, as well as for your valuable feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. Your input helps us improve the platform in ways that matter most to our customers, and we truly appreciate your ongoing support.
We look forward to bringing you more improvements in the next quarter!
